It feels like I simply blinked, and somehow the Class of 2025 is ready to enter its final year of high school. After a quick three years, these rising Seniors are entering the home stretch of their recruiting, and by the time we reach the September rankings update, I’d anticipate a number of additional commitments to come our way for this group. Below are a “FAST FIVE” look at some quick notes on the power forward group in 2025, followed by the positional rankings for the ladies located in our new Top-100 overall for 2025.
– Brooke Winchester Brooke Winchester 6'0" | PF Warsaw Community | 2025 State IN is a kid who grew early, then really worked to develop her skillset. She is an excellent outside shooter, and she has done a lot to improve her quickness/explosiveness, and to even play more like a small forward at the offensive end of the floor. She uses screens well, and she needs little space or time to get her shot away. At the same time, she is still fairly strong and physical, she’ll rebound, and she can play in the mid-post. She has committed to Ball State University.
– Fishers forward Nevaeh Dickman Nevaeh Dickman 6'0" | PF Fishers | 2025 State IN is sitting in a position of luxury at this point. She enters her final July as one of the top uncommitted interior players in the Midwest, so she should draw a lot of attention. She has a strong, athletic frame, and she gets up and down the floor well. She has added to her skillset and stretched her game from the mid-post to the perimeter, but she can still find points and rebounds inside. She has also shown some defensive flexibility.
– Unfortunately for Ashiyah Teague Ashiyah Teague 6'0" | PF Lawrence North | 2025 State IN , she will miss the remainder of the Summer with an injury. She should be back by the Fall, but she missed June and won’t play in July. She has a long, wiry-strong frame, she works hard inside, and she is a really nice mid-post-and-in rebounder/defender type who can also defend out on the wing. She continues to work on her offensive skill, but she’s best in that 15-foot range right now.
– Brownsburg’s Morgan Montgomery Morgan Montgomery 5'10" | PF Brownsburg | 2025 State IN looked especially strong during the IBCA team showcase Friday and Saturday. She has always flashed potential, as she is a strong, somewhat bouncy, athletic forward. But this past weekend, she was making shots, finishing from different areas on the floor, plus she was aggressive defensively.
– Alyson Peters Alyson Peters 5'11" | PF Batesville | 2025 State IN of Batesville is another one of those kids in 2025 who has quietly put together a really nice Spring, but I still think she is somewhat under-recruited. She has an athletically strong frame, some length, and she’s outstanding in the mid-post. She plays bigger than she is and can really defend, rebound, and score it inside of 15-feet. At the same time, she has worked hard to expand her game to 20-feet as well, and it is steadily improving.
